What You Can Do With Expired Milk - incredible Uses You Wouldn't Have Thought Off

Before you throw your expired milk in the trash, read this article. You may find that you can still use it for certain things, even if it has expired.

We often forget the milk in the fridge for days after we open it and find that when we want to eat it with cereals, for example, it has a sour smell. Therefore, the first thought is to throw it in the sink. But it can still be used!

If it is raw, unpasteurized milk, you can use it even longer, in many ways. Instead, pasteurized milk that has begun to change its texture, smell and taste is not safe for consumption, its place is in the trash.

Expired milk - what can you do with it?

You can use it for various cakes. Even if the slightly sour taste is disgusting, if you add expired milk in the composition of some cakes, the taste will disappear. You can use "rotten" milk for pancakes, croissants, biscuits, banana bread, etc.

Add it to stews, soups or sauces. The milk will thicken the composition, without changing its bad taste.

Use it as a marinade. Milk contains lactic acid, which is excellent for tenderizing meat. Before cooking, keep the piece of meat in milk for at least an hour. You can also add milk in the classic marinade composition.

Expired milk cheese

Make cheese from expired milk. The recipe is very simple.

You need: 1 liter of milk (it can also be fresh milk, but here we are talking about "expired" milk), 2-3 teaspoons of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of cream.

Preparation: put the milk in a pot and leave it over medium heat. When the milk reaches about 90 degrees Celsius (a thermometer is useful), take the pot off the heat and add the vinegar. Stir gently until "cheese". If you see that it does not separate, add a little more vinegar or a tablespoon of lemon juice.

Put the composition in a gauze and squeeze very well. Pour the cheese into a bowl, crush it with a fork until you get the desired texture, then add salt and cream. Stir lightly again and store in the refrigerator in a bowl with a lid. The cheese is kept in the refrigerator for about 7 days.

Exhausted milk, good for plants and skin

Wash your face with milk. Lactic acid gives your skin radiance and softness. Mix milk with a little water and apply on the face with a cleansing disk.

The sour smell disappears when you rinse your face with clean water. You can also use expired milk in the water in which you take a bath. Put 500 milliliters of milk in the water, plus 2-3 drops of essential oil, and your skin will feel regal.

Expired milk, good for plants. Even if you don't like the taste of sour milk, plants love this liquid. Mix milk with water and use the liquid to moisten houseplants or tomatoes. Calcium in milk is extremely beneficial for plant roots.
